Job summary

Premier Research seeks a Senior Project Finance Analyst to support the Clinical R&D-Finance team in delivering accurate project accounting, revenue recognition, and cash flow analysis for biotech and pharmaceutical programs.

You will partner with Project Managers and finance to review budgets, track profitability, and prepare monthly invoices and reports. A bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and 5+ years CRO experience are required; East Coast candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Minimum of 5 years in accounting or finance position within a CRO.
• Experience with a revenue recognition system.
• Highly detail oriented.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, Excel.
• East Coast preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews contract payments schedules and prepares monthly fee for service and pass-through invoices.
• Analyzes contract including budget and hours for setup in financial system and internal tracking worksheets.
• Calculates monthly contract revenue for assigned projects.
• Assists Project Managers with analyzing monthly reports for project profitability.
• Attends project meetings related to assigned projects.
• Calculates monthly backlog for assigned projects.
• Assists managers with questions and analyses as requested.
• Analyzes change orders for incorporation into original contract.
• Prepares cash flow and analysis for payment schedules.
• All other tasks as assigned.
