Job summary

Premier Research is seeking a Senior Project Finance Analyst to join our Clinical R&D-Finance team. You will review contract payments and prepare monthly invoices, analyze budgets, and calculate monthly revenue for assigned projects.

You’ll work with Project Managers on profitability reports and attend project meetings to support financial decisions. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 5+ years of CRO finance experience, and strong attention to detail with excellent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Minimum of 5 years in accounting or finance position within a CRO required.
• Experience with a revenue recognition system.
• Highly detail oriented.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, Excel.
• East Coast preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews contract payment schedules and prepares monthly invoices for assigned projects.
• Analyzes contract budgets and hours for setup in financial system and tracking worksheets.
• Calculates monthly contract revenue for assigned projects.
• Assists Project Managers with analyzing monthly reports for profitability.
• Attends project-related meetings for assigned projects.
• Calculates monthly backlog for assigned projects.
• Supports Project and Finance managers with questions and analyses as requested.
• Analyzes change orders for incorporation into original contract.
• Prepares cash flow analyses for payment schedules.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
