Job summary

TQI Solutions Inc. is seeking a Finance Manager for Project Finance and Accounting to lead financial management for DoD projects, oversee forecasting, and ensure accurate reporting.

The role partners with PMs and executives to drive informed decisions and maintain strong internal controls. Responsibilities include cost control, forecasting accuracy, and accounting oversight within Costpoint, with supervision of the Project Controls Analyst and AP Specialist.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years progressive experience in finance, accounting, or project controls.
• 5+ years supporting DoD government contracts in a DCAA environment.
• Experience with Costpoint for project accounting and reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead project financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis (EACs, labor forecasts, revenue projections).
• Monitor project costs, funding, labor utilization, revenue recognition and overall performance.
• Partner with Project Managers to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze budget-to-actual variances and communicate trends to leadership.
• Support monthly and annual financial close and reporting processes.
• Supervise Project Controls Analyst and Accounts Payable Specialist; mentor staff.
