Job summary

Q2 Consulting Solutions LLC is seeking a Business Financial Manager with at least 3 years of experience in financial analysis and DoD program management. The role supports budgeting, scheduling, and tracking of obligations for defense-related programs, with duties spanning acquisitions and contracting actions.

The position requires Top Secret clearance and a hybrid work arrangement based in Washington, DC area, with a focus on collaborative program delivery and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree required.
• 3+ years of experience with financial analysis for DoD or R&D programs.
• 3+ years managing DoD or R&D-type programs and budgets.
• Experience supporting development of program budgets, schedules and tracking of commitments/expenditures.
• Experience with new program acquisition, solicitations, and contracting actions.
• DoD issued security clearance (Top Secret preferred).
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to change.

About The Role

Job Type: Full-time

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• BA or BS degree
• 3+ years of experience with financial analysis
• 3+ years of experience with managing DoD or R&D-type programs
• Experience supporting the development of program budgets, schedules, and tracking of financial commitments, obligations, and expenditures
• Experience with new program acquisition, solicitations, and contracting actions
• DoD issued Secret clearance
• Ability to exhibit flexibility, adaptability, and team orientation

Preferred Additional Qualifications

• Experience with providing analysis and support to defense research and development programs
• Experience working with the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) financial system
• Experience generating military interdepartmental purchase request (MIPR) or purchase request (PR) documents
• Experience working with advanced research project agencies, including DARPA, ARPAe, and IARPA
• BA or BS degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• DoD issued security clearance TS/SCI
