Appleton Finn seeks a Project Executive to oversee delivery of complex construction projects across the Bay Area. You will provide strategic oversight, mentor teams, and drive safety, quality, schedule, and profitability.

The role requires 15+ years in commercial construction, leadership of large projects, and a Bachelor’s degree. Expect strong client relationships, regional business development, and an 100% employee-owned environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of commercial construction experience, including leadership of large or complex projects.
• Experience in commercial, healthcare, education, life sciences, or technology sectors preferred.
• Strong financial, operational, and contract-management expertise.
• Proven ability to lead teams and maintain senior-level client relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level leadership from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Oversee multiple project teams, including Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Manage project financials, forecasting, contracts, risk, and profitability.
• Build lasting relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and trade partners.
• Support preconstruction, project pursuits, and regional business development.
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Mentor and develop project teams while promoting collaboration.
