Job summary

BCCI Construction Company seeks a Project Executive to lead project teams, develop people, and build trusted client and trade partner relationships. You will guide projects from strategy through delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability while collaborating with executive leadership to shape growth.

You will oversee client relationships, secure new business, and align staffing to meet targeted gross margins, driving performance and value across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• College degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, and related fields or equivalent work experience.
• 15 years of construction management experience with a demonstrated progression of increased responsibility.
• 5-7 years in managing staff.
• Recent experience in corporate interiors / tenant improvement, including coordination of millwork, furniture integration, lighting design, and architectural finishes.
• Up to Date understanding of standard building codes, city permitting processes, and construction documentation requirements.
• Current experience working with corporate tenants, ownership groups, designers, and brokers, with a strong emphasis on communication and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with potential and current clients
• Play a leading role in securing new business and negotiating contracts
• Supervise projects and ensure on-time and on-budget delivery with quality, safety and profitability
• Manage and oversee project teams from Project Management, Preconstruction and Field Operations
• Curate culture on the project team aligned with organizational culture
• Manage staffing by sharing/trading with other PEx’s and advise Division Leaders on long-term staffing
• Guide teams to meet or exceed project gross margins and financial goals
• Collaborate with PEx’s, Department Heads and Division Leaders to address client concerns
• Assist Department Heads in performance improvement through training and coaching
• Lead marketing activities: presentations, RFPs, industry events
