Job summary

Clune Construction is seeking a Project Executive to lead planning, coordination and completion of construction projects in Chicago. You will manage budgeting, bidding, cost control, and client relations across the project lifecycle, and guide internal and external teams to meet financial goals.

You will mentor project staff, contribute to business development, and foster a culture of excellence, safety and innovation within an employee-owned company that rewards performance and growth.

Qualifications

• Strong estimating and budgeting skills.
• Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Time management and prioritization.
• Ability to relate to higher-end clientele.
• Strong skills in drawing review.
• Conscientious and team-first attitude.
• Ability to prepare lump-sum bids.
• Flexible and motivated to grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFP responses, presentations, and pitches.
• Develop client relationships and manage budgets.
• Develop Project Managers and assist with mentorship.
• Oversee cost control, change management, and billing reconciliation.
• Identify new project leads and bid opportunities.
• Mentor team and participate in mentoring programs.
