Job summary

Langan is seeking a Project Environmental Engineer, Scientist, Geologist / Project Manager to join our collaborative team in Bethlehem, PA. This role manages environmental investigation and remediation projects, delivers technically excellent services, and oversees field work, proposals, and reports.

You will develop project and staff management skills, interact with clients, and work on a range of small to large-scale projects with potential for career growth within a leading environmental

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• LEED AP or PE certification.
• 6+ years of related work experience.
• Proficient in environmental due diligence.
• Knowledge of quantitative/technical analyses and software.
• Hazwoper training and annual certification.
• Comprehensive regulatory knowledge.
• Excellent public speaking, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and budgets; work evenings/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental investigation and remediation projects.
• Perform complex analyses for portions of projects.
• Supervise field activities and ensure correct interpretations.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets, schedules, and deadlines.
• Draft proposals, reports and other documents.
• Support business development and client meetings.
• Coach and supervise junior staff.
• Coordinate cross-location teams and disciplines as needed.
• Interface professionally with clients, contractors, and staff.
• Perform other duties as requested.
