Job summary

Air Liquide in Houston seeks a Project Engineering Manager to lead engineering and procurement for major investment projects. You will work with the PM/Director to craft execution strategy, define scope, budget, and schedule, and coordinate with engineering centers and subcontractors to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires extensive experience in EPC projects, strong leadership, and a solid safety mindset to meet budget and schedule targets while maintaining compliance with Air Liquide

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in managing engineering/ interfaces for large industrial plants
• Experience with EPC, Engineering/Procurement, project engineering and field execution
• Knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines in large facilities
• US work authorization; visa sponsorship not available

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage engineering/procurement for investment projects ($60M–$150M).
• Prepare project execution strategy: scope, budget, schedule, assumptions, risks.
• Coordinate engineering activities across centers; manage subcontracting & fabrication.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and compliance with HSES requirements.
• Lead design reviews (HAZOP, P&ID, 3D model) and interface with stakeholders.
