Job summary

Air Liquide Houston, TX, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical scope development and design for America’s projects. You will collaborate with internal and third-party centers to define calculations, specs and FAT testing, ensuring compliance with NEC/IEC/ANSI standards.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on substations, plant power distribution, cable installations and grounding systems, while supporting

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience with electrical design in industrial environments.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and perform power studies.
• Proficiency with SKM or ETAP for power distribution analysis.
• Knowledge of NEC/IEC/ANSI standards.

Responsibilities

• Meet company safety standards and adhere to procedures.
• Develop electrical scope, labor estimates, and equipment specs for projects.
• Coordinate with internal and third-party engineering centers on calculations and FAT testing.
• Review electrical equipment and vendor drawings in collaboration with engineering group.
• Support FAT and commissioning activities for substations, power distribution, and grounding systems.
