Job summary

WCL Group in Schenectady, NY seeks a Senior Project Engineering Manager within the Gas Power Americas team to lead the engineering execution of BOP-scoped projects from contract signature to contractual obligations.

You will manage a cross-functional engineering team, coordinate with multiple functions, review customer specifications, and drive project profitability while maintaining quality and schedule. This role requires travel within the US and internationally.

Qualifications

• Requires at least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM field.
• Minimum 6 years of progressively responsible related industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and plan engineering activities for customer projects and monitor schedules.
• Interface with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, Product Engineering, Sourcing, and subcontractors.
• Develop best practices and ensure delivery within contract scope and responsibility area.
• Assess financial and schedule impact of customer-requested scope changes and manage risks.
• Drive project profitability and maintain alignment with budgets.
