Job summary

Apex Companies LLC seeks a highly motivated Sr. Project Engineer - PE to lead civil design projects for water and wastewater systems in Oklahoma. You will guide design teams, develop client relationships, and ensure projects meet budgets and timelines.

Mentoring junior staff and coordinating with subconsultants are key parts of this role. Required: 6+ years as a consulting engineer, a civil/environmental engineering degree, and an Oklahoma P.E. license.

Qualifications

• 6+ years as a consulting engineer in water/wastewater design and permitting.
• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering and an Oklahoma P.E.
• Strong understanding of civil design standards and project constraints.
• Proven history of meeting timelines and budgets.
• Ability to develop creative engineering solutions and client relationships.
• Proficient in MS Office applications; strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead civil design projects for water/wastewater systems.
• Provide direction to civil design teams and mentors staff.
• Estimate labor hours, review costing, and take corrective action.
• Develop client relationships and ensure client objectives are met.
• Participate in business development and marketing presentations.
• Hire and manage subcontractors; ensure quality work.
• Ensure safe performance of project work.
