Job summary

Natural Systems Utilities in Fall River, MA seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead wastewater design projects from concept through construction. You will supervise design teams, prepare reports, manage budgets, and coordinate with clients and regulators.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in wastewater design, PE licensed, proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, and strong communication skills to train junior staff and collaborate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Eng from an accredited school.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required for consideration.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, hydraulics, piping, and instrumentation.
• Experience leading design or portions of design projects.
• Experience coordinating interdisciplinary work with internal/external teams.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD for design documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to train junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects, directing junior engineers on design efforts.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, specs, and client proposals.
• Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and scope definition.
• Mentor staff and review completed design work.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and regulators professionally.
• Coordinate with suppliers for quotes and materials.
• Conduct site inspections and manage construction admin tasks.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and permits.
