PCL Civil Constructors, Inc. in Washington, D.C. and nearby locations seeks a Senior Project Engineer Civil Waste/Waterwaste to lead technical and field activities on complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

The role involves collaboration with project teams to deliver safe, high-quality work. We value experience in heavy civil construction, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management, plus mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in heavy civil construction, focusing on water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Experience managing project engineering functions: budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and cost control.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs and surveys to manage progress, reporting, and change management.
• Maintain complex subcontracted scopes and administer subcontracts and documents.
• Review subcontractors’ submittals for compliance with scope and design documents.
• Assist with site inspections and witness system commissioning.
