Job summary

Seven Seas Water Group in Tampa, FL, seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead engineering for seawater/brackish RO water facilities. You will drive P&ID ownership, 3D plant design coordination, and cross-disciplinary documentation to deliver turnkey systems for municipal and industrial clients.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong mechanical design skills, and experience with SWRO. Occasional travel and a hybrid schedule in Tampa are expected, with fluency in English and Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; chemical or mechanical preferred.
• 5–10 years in water treatment or SWRO design.
• Strong ability to read P&ID, PFD, and GA drawings.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead engineer for assigned projects and support the project manager.
• Own the P&ID integration across disciplines for consistent design and documentation.
• Prepare engineering documents (P&ID, foundation loading charts, equipment data sheets).
• Prepare Material Purchase Specifications (MPS) and review technical bid evaluations.
• Coordinate with 3D Plant Design Team to deliver annotated construction drawings.
• Facilitate HAZOP and Plant Design Reviews for new plants.
• Maintain detailed BOMs in the ERP system (IFS) and issue purchase requisitions.
• Direct and approve work of mechanical AutoCAD designers.
• Assist Business Development with costing on new plants.
• Assist in completing operational procedures for new plants.
