Job summary

Our Starkville-area client, a manufacturer of water treatment chemicals, seeks a Senior Project Engineer to manage a portfolio of capital projects from concept through commissioning and start-up. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong cost control, and coordination with Operations, Environmental, Safety, and vendors.

You will lead scope, schedule, and budget for projects typically ranging from $1 million to $15 million, develop FEED, P&IDs and PFDs, and provide clear project updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of engineering experience in project management, plant operations, or process design.
• Experience managing capital projects from cradle to grave, including scope, schedule, budget, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of projects from concept through commissioning and start-up.
• Coordinate with Operations, Environmental, Safety, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop and monitor scope, schedule, budgets, and cost reports.
