Job summary

e-STORAGE, part of Canadian Solar, seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead electrical engineering for utility-scale storage projects in North America. You will manage design, construction, and commissioning, coordinating with internal teams, consultants, and EPCs while handling technical issues and site verifications.

The role requires strong electrical knowledge, project leadership, and travel up to 25% in Canada and the US to ensure design verification and field execution.

Qualifications

• Education in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years in project or systems engineering for energy projects.
• Knowledge of low-/medium-voltage electrical systems and codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design development through commissioning for utility-scale storage projects.
• Serve as primary technical contact and coordinate with vendors, consultants, and contractors.
• Review designs, prepare technical specs, and support procurement and bid evaluations.
• Lead QA/QC on engineering deliverables and coordinate across disciplines.
