Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks a technically proficient leader to guide multi-discipline engineering projects in Baton Rouge. You will support the Project Manager, drive performance, cost, schedule, and client satisfaction under minimal supervision.

Ideal candidates have a BS/MS in Engineering, PE/PMP preferred, and 5+ years in engineering and project management. The role emphasizes team leadership, standards compliance, and effective communication with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Engineering required or equivalent
• PMP preferred or relevant project management certification
• 5+ years in engineering and project management

Responsibilities

• Inform PM of technical issues and decisions on the project
• Coordinate with Client on technical design issues
• Coordinate with PM, Construction, Procurement, Quality, and Project Controls on execution issues
• Assist in managing engineering budgets and schedule and changes in scope
• Produce regular engineering status reports and resource forecasting
• Ensure timely completion of multi-discipline deliverables and quality control
