Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to drive advanced test development and analysis for power tool products. This hands-on role requires cross-functional communication and strong data analytics to support new product introductions throughout development cycles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product development, systems, reliability, test or similar function.
• Experience with systems engineering fundamentals and requirements management.
• Experience in data collection and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert with respect to product testing, reliability, requirements management and warranty analysis for new product designs and engineering changes.
• Collaborate with design engineers and marketing to define product specifications regarding life, durability, quality, and user needs.
• Participate in design reviews to showcase status, risks, and readiness for testing and verification activities.
• Develop and execute reliability, design, and validation assessments to support successful product introductions.
• Ensure completion of product qualification test plans including functional, reliability, and durability testing.
• Develop test procedures and validate methods for new or established product designs.
• Analyze and present product usage and risk assessments using statistical techniques.
• Perform root cause analysis for issues observed in life testing or field use.
