Job summary

Atlantach Technical Services in Santa Clara seeks a Senior Project Engineer to support the General Contractor in delivering a semiconductor test fab, including a small fabrication facility and Critical Utilities Building. This is a long-term project of about 2 years with potential for ongoing career growth within Atlantach.

The candidate will coordinate CSA/MEP work packages, review drawings and specifications, manage RFIs and field coordination, and ensure safety, quality, and timely handover

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience supporting semiconductor, advanced technology, microchip manufacturing, cleanroom, and/or mission-critical facility construction projects.
• Experience creating documentation such as RFIs, and client correspondence on issues related to the notification provisions in contracts.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and drawings and the technical specifications associated with drawings.
• Ability to prepare subcontract scopes and contracts.
• 1+ years working with cost control systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP or CSA work packages from design through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Review drawings, specifications, technical submittals, method statements and material approvals.
• Manage RFIs, design changes, technical queries and field coordination issues.
• Coordinate subcontractors, designers, vendors and other engineering disciplines.
• Monitor installation progress against the construction programme and key milestones.
• Lead site inspections and verify compliance with design, quality and safety requirements.
• Manage interfaces between CSA, mechanical, electrical, process and critical utility systems.
• Support constructability reviews, clash resolution and construction sequencing.
• Track procurement, equipment deliveries, constraints, defects and corrective actions.
• Support testing, commissioning readiness, snagging and system turnover.
• Maintain accurate engineering, quality and handover documentation.
• Provide regular progress, risk and technical updates to the Senior Project Manager.
