Job summary

Clayco SEI is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for field-based work on complex building systems nationwide. You will support the Project Manager with technical documentation, reporting, and coordination across structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes on large-scale projects.

The role requires collaboration with architects, engineers, and planners, mentoring interns, and ensuring cost control and schedule adherence on multi-trade efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, Eng, Arch or related field.
• 0–5 years of construction project management experience.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.
• Ability to walk job sites and lift 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of construction principles and technology.

Responsibilities

• Build client and subcontractor relationships.
• Team with architects and planners to manage design schedule.
• Assist in planning, forecasts, and budgets.
• Manage project execution and cost reporting.
• Mentor interns and new project staff.
• Oversee schedule/coordination/document control.
• Prepare RFIs and submittals.
• Document meeting minutes.
