Duotech Services, LLC (DSL) is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to lead technical execution on rugged military‑grade embedded computing systems and automated test equipment (ATE). This mid‑senior role combines leadership with hands‑on engineering and problem solving.

You will act as the primary technical lead for project teams, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and driving projects to successful completion within the DoD ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: US citizen.
• Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Experience: 7+ years in engineering roles supporting embedded systems, rugged electronics, aerospace, or defense environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team’s technical activities across electrical, mechanical, software, test, and systems engineering disciplines.
• Translate customer requirements, objectives, and constraints into actionable engineering plans and system‑level approaches.
• Oversee system architecture development, subsystem integration, and technical decision‑making throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure engineering design efforts meet functional, environmental, and performance requirements for ruggedized military‑grade electronics and embedded systems.
• Coordinate and guide reverse‑engineering, sustainment, and modernization activities for legacy systems.
• Serve as the primary technical interface with customers, stakeholders, and internal leadership.
• Monitor technical progress, risks, and issues; implement mitigation strategies to maintain project alignment with scope, schedule, and cost objectives.
• Lead engineering reviews, technical documentation development, and configuration management efforts.
• Foster a collaborative, high‑performance engineering environment focused on innovation, quality, and mission readiness.
