Duotech Services, LLC (DSL) seeks a highly skilled Project Engineer to lead technical execution on rugged military-grade embedded computing systems and automated test equipment (ATE). You will serve as primary technical lead for cross-disciplinary teams, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and driving projects to completion.

The role emphasizes leadership, system-level engineering, and hands-on problem solving in a DoD-oriented environment. On-site work in Huntsville, AL is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of engineering experience in embedded systems, rugged electronics, aerospace, or defense.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team’s technical activities across electrical, mechanical, software, test, and systems engineering disciplines.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering plans and system-level approaches.
• Oversee system architecture development, subsystem integration, and technical decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure design efforts meet ruggedized military-grade requirements for electronics and embedded systems.
• Coordinate reverse-engineering, sustainment, and modernization for legacy systems.
• Serve as the primary technical interface with customers and internal leadership.
• Monitor progress, risks, and issues; implement mitigation to maintain scope, schedule, and cost objectives.
• Lead engineering reviews, documentation, and configuration management.
