Job summary

Duotech Services, LLC (DSL) seeks a systems engineer to lead system-level design and development for rugged embedded computing systems and automated test equipment. You will coordinate across electrical, mechanical, software and test teams, translating customer requirements into concrete specifications.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in system engineering for defense programs, US citizenship with the ability to obtain a secret clearance, and experience with requirements management or MBSE

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of system-level engineering experience for embedded systems, rugged electronics, aerospace or defense programs.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into actionable engineering specifications and plans.
• Experience with obtaining and maintaining a U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Experience with requirements management tools or system modeling approaches is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Oversee architecture, planning, and system-level integration of embedded computing systems and ATE.
• Translate customer requirements into engineering specifications across electrical, mechanical, software and test teams.
• Lead system-level design reviews, risk assessments, and requirements validation.
• Ensure subsystem designs meet functional, environmental, and performance requirements.
• Support reverse-engineering and modernization of legacy systems.
• Maintain technical ownership of interfaces, baselines, documentation, and configuration management.
• Collaborate with program management to meet scope, schedule and performance objectives.
• Foster a positive and disciplined engineering environment delivering reliable, high-quality products.
