Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with focus on electrical circuits and renewable energy.
• 4+ years of directly related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and determine applicability of national codes and standards clauses for the EUT (equipment under test).
• Understand electrical and mechanical schematics and manufacturing instructions.
• Validate the project scope and sample applicability.
• Identify test instruments and equipment required for testing.
• Set up and operate EUT and perform simple repairs as needed.
• Perform certification and testing for batteries, BESS, inverters, PV modules.
• Compile test results and final reports; communicate status to clients.
• Mentor junior staff and support quotes and logistics.
• Provide client support and travel as needed (up to 50%).
