Job summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Bellevue, WA to plan, coordinate and deliver complex projects across the Northwest. You will support contract progress, manage subcontracted scopes, and ensure alignment with drawings, specifications and HSE requirements.

The role requires 4–6 years in construction and a relevant degree. Frequent travel within the region and relocation may be needed; strong MS Office and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of construction experience in an operational role preferred.
• Detailed knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, HSE and quality standards.
• Ability to apply basic engineering/problem-solving principles to construction challenges.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Flexible with a fast-paced environment and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Performs quantity takeoffs and surveys to manage contract progress, reporting, and change management.
• Maintains contracts with complex subcontracted scopes and subcontract administration.
• Reviews obligations per project scope; assists site manager in startup activities.
• Reviews subcontractors’ submittals for scope and design coherence with the design team.
• Assists with site inspection and witnesses system commissioning.
• Identify potential risks on project scopes.
• Other duties as required.
