Job summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. is hiring a Project Engineer to support successful delivery of construction projects across Oregon and Washington. You will coordinate activities, manage documentation, and build stakeholder relationships while developing leadership skills in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of construction experience in an operational role preferred.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture preferred, or equivalent.
• Projects in the Northwest, willingness to work across WA/OR region.

Responsibilities

• Maintains contract with select trade partners and oversees subcontract administration.
• Participates in change management and change order processes with cost/schedule impact assessment.
• Maintains project document control and procedures (RFIs, shop drawings, as-built drawings).
• Collaborates with project team lead to supervise design and respond to the submittal schedule.
• Reviews trade submittals for scope and design documentation prior to design review.
• Coordinates with PM and superintendent on site performance, cost, schedule and quality.
• Prepares and supervises progress claims and estimates.
• Tracks materials and equipment, expedites orders.
• Assists with site inspections, resolves constructability and coordination issues.
• Contributes to project closeout, maintenance manuals and warranty work.
