Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, seeks a capable Proposal Lead/Project Manager to guide cross-functional teams in Puerto Rico on aerospace programs, from ejection seat concepts to advanced defense technologies.

You will manage IPMT meetings, track schedules and budgets, coordinate proposals, and ensure customer requirements are met while liaising with planning and management. This hybrid role offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM field and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Professional English communication (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• Experience in project/program management, preferably in aerospace.

Responsabilités

• Act as Proposal Lead coordinating with Systems, Software, Mechanical, Electrical, Programs, Production, Quality and Supply Chain.
• Lead weekly Project meetings with the Integrated Product Team.
• Record delays, changes in scope, and incidents impacting scope or schedule and escalate appropriately.
• Support formalization of critical customer and change board documentation/coordination.
• Oversee administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines.
• Meet program schedules and budgets and maintain integrated master schedules.
• Keep track of pursuits and manage updates in Salesforce.
• Review Customer Requirement, Validation and Gates Preparation.
• Schedule and manage IPMT meetings and ensure pursuit deck alignment with schedule.
• Coordinate preparation of proposals, business plans, and specifications; manage budgets and contract terms.

What YOU will do:

• Act as Proposal Lead to manage the process working collaboratively with other Engineering disciplines (Systems, Software, Mechanical, and Electrical), Programs, Production, Quality and Supply Chain
• Lead weekly Project meeting with Integrated Product Team
• Records, documents delay, changes in scope, and any other incidents that impact the scope of work or schedule to ensure smooth project operations, communicate and/or escalate appropriately.

• Responsible for coordination and overseeing of administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines while also liaising between project management and planning and line management.
• Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
• Monitors and assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Participates in the coordination, preparation and maintenance of project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements to ensure that all action item lists are completed, and project quality expectations are met.

Qualifications you must have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experienceDemonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
• Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Project/Program Management experience, preferably in aerospace

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Working knowledge of and experience in Siemens PLM tools – Teamcenter and NX.
• Experience with schedules, financials, engineering estimations, and managing medium to large projects
• Print reading and working knowledge of industry standards including ASME/ANSY 14
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams, align members with project goals, drive progress toward milestones, and mentoring and guiding engineers
• Experience communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including through written reports and verbal presentations.
• Experience creating clear, concise, and well-structured technical documents, reports, and proposals, including requirements, design details, and testing procedures.
• Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project), with the ability to create detailed reports, presentations, schedules, and project tracking documents.
• PMP Certification or Agile certifications
