Job summary

GE Vernova in the United States seeks a seasoned Project Manager for large capital power generation projects. You will lead end-to-end execution, manage budgets and revenue, and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.

Travel up to 30% is expected as projects span multiple sites. Candidates should have PMP certification, 7+ years of PM experience in power/large capital environments, and a proven ability to drive cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 7 years of Project Management experience within Power Generation Equipment, Construction, or large capital project environments.
• Travel up to 30% to customer sites and other locations.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience with large capital project execution costs and estimates.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
• Field experience or equivalent project management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple phased projects simultaneously and independently.
• Strong customer focus and ability to foster relationships.
• Experience influencing senior leaders and communicating complex messages.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of Simple and Combined Cycle projects within Heavy Duty Gas Power.
• Manage full project lifecycle from contract signing to completion.
• Serve as primary customer contact for assigned projects.
• Lead customer engagement, negotiations, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate contract reviews for alignment on requirements and obligations.
• Own project revenue, budgets, and operating plans.
• Mentor teams on project performance metrics and risk trade-offs.
• Develop risk and opportunity registers with mitigation actions.
• Promote Safety Toolkit across teams and subcontractors.
• Provide leadership to project teams and escalate as needed.
• Present project, business, and technical solutions to senior leadership.
