Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to drive capital projects across processing plants. You will lead planning, design, installation, commissioning, and handoff, coordinating with Engineering, Plant Operations, Maintenance, and contractors.

You will ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget while enhancing safety and efficiency at facilities in Marshville, NC, Nacogdoches, TX, or Sumter, SC. On-site role with strong leadership expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Three to five years of experience required.
• Strong communication, project management, analytical, and leadership skills; proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Create capital-budgeted projects and expenditures for poultry processing plants.
• Lead projects with timelines, coordination, and progress tracking.
• Serve as liaison between contractors and plant personnel for layouts and utilities.
• Plan and attend safety meetings; enforce safety as needed.
• Coordinate utilities relocation and installation of new utilities.
• Maintain, improve as-built drawings, retention, and version control.
