Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to drive capital projects across our poultry processing plants. You will lead planning, execution, and delivery of initiatives that improve performance, efficiency, and safety, collaborating with Engineering, Plant Operations, Maintenance, and contractors.

This role is located at one of Pilgrim’s facilities in Marshville, NC; Nacogdoches, TX; or Sumter, SC. It is not remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication, project management, analytical and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex plant projects.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and contractors.
• Ensure projects are on time, in scope, and within budget.
• Coordinate utilities, site layouts, and safety meetings.
• Maintain as-built drawings and version control.
