Pilgrim’s is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to drive innovation and operational excellence across multi-plant projects.

You will lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering initiatives that improve plant performance, efficiency, and safety. Based at one of Pilgrim’s facilities (Marshville, NC; Nacogdoches, TX; Sumter, SC), this role collaborates closely with Engineering, Plant Operations, Maintenance, and external contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• Three to five years of previous experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; above average AutoCAD skills.
• Strong communication, project management, analytical, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Creation of capital budgeted projects and expenditures for the poultry processing plants.
• Serve as Project Lead on projects, developing timelines, coordinating support, and tracking progress.
• Primary liaison between Contractors and plant personnel assisting in layouts and utilities.
• Plan and attend safety meetings surrounding projects including enforcement.
• Coordinate utilities for work including relocation and installation of new utilities.
• Maintain and improve as-built drawings, retention, and version control.
