Job summary

NOOTER Services is seeking a seasoned Project Engineer to support electrical construction projects in highly regulated environments, including pharmaceutical and life sciences facilities. You will manage documentation, procurement, and project controls across multiple simultaneous projects.

The role emphasizes coordination with vendors and subcontractors, review of drawings, and strict adherence to project sequencing and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or highly regulated construction environments is preferred.
• Strong experience with document control, procurement, material coordination, and project administration.
• Ability to independently manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Experience processing RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, material releases, and change orders.
• Familiarity with GMP/cGMP environments and FDA-regulated facilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation from kickoff through closeout.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, material releases, change orders, and closeout documentation.
• Prioritize procurement activities immediately following approved submittals.
• Coordinate with vendors, fabrication facilities, subcontractors, field supervision, and project management.
• Review construction drawings and specifications to identify procurement requirements and project risks.
• Ensure procurement aligns with construction sequencing and installation schedules.
• Maintain accurate project records and support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Support multiple concurrent projects while maintaining exceptional organization and accuracy.
