Job summary

NOOTER Services in Indiana is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager through document control, procurement, material management, and project controls on highly regulated electrical construction projects.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences environments, with outstanding organization and the ability to coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and field supervision to keep schedules on track.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field required.
Minimum 7+ years of project engineering experience in electrical construction.
Experience in GMP/cGMP manufacturing environments is preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Strong document control and procurement knowledge.

Responsibilities

Manage project documentation from kickoff through closeout.
Coordinate RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, material releases, change orders, and closeout documentation.
Prioritize procurement activities immediately following approved submittals.
Coordinate with vendors, fabrication facilities, subcontractors, field supervision, and project management.
Review construction drawings and specifications to identify procurement requirements and project risks.
Ensure procurement aligns with construction sequencing and installation schedules.
Maintain accurate project records and support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Support multiple concurrent projects while maintaining exceptional organization and accuracy.
