Job summary

NOOTER Services, an employee-owned electrical construction firm, seeks a Project Engineer to support complex, regulated life sciences projects in Indiana. You will coordinate document control, procurement, material management, and project controls from kickoff to closeout.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of project engineering experience on electrical construction within GMP/cGMP environments, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with

Qualifications

7+ years of project engineering experience on electrical construction.
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or other regulated construction projects.
Proficient in document control, procurement, material coordination, and project administration.
Ability to independently manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Experience processing RFIs, submittals, POs, material releases, and change orders.
Strong understanding of procurement workflows and construction sequencing.

Responsibilities

Manage project documentation from kickoff through closeout.
Coordinate RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, material releases, change orders, and closeout documentation.
Prioritize procurement activities immediately following approved submittals.
Coordinate with vendors, fabrication facilities, subcontractors, field supervision, and project management.
Review construction drawings and specifications to identify procurement requirements and project risks.
Ensure procurement aligns with construction sequencing and installation schedules.
Maintain accurate project records and support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Support multiple concurrent projects while maintaining exceptional organization and accuracy.
