Job summary

rand* construction corporation is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Alexandria, VA. The SPE will coordinate projects, lead engineers, and work with internal/external partners to overcome challenges and ensure successful delivery.

The role requires strong scheduling, RFI/submittal management, and subcontract coordination with a focus on safety and quality. Eligible candidates will have leadership and analytic skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Experience coordinating projects and leading Engineers.
• Knowledge of RFI processes, submittals, and change management.
• Strong communication and client-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently coordinate project activities and assist PMs/SPMs.
• Lead PEs on tasks like meeting minutes, RFIs, and workflows.
• Develop basic schedules and monitor cost and schedule impacts.
• Support subcontract creation, COIs, and contract administration.
