Senior Project Engineer – EMC Team (Electric Power Systems)

Senior Project Engineer will lead the planning and execution of critical EMC projects, including managing Integrated Master Schedules, overseeing program budgets through the Collins Earned Value Management System (EVMS), and driving change and risk management efforts. The role requires collaboration with EMC technical leads, cross‑functional teams, and internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and cross‑functional teams in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment to support program success.
  • Manage program budgets, schedules, and detailed program plans to ensure smooth execution while maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing conditions.
  • Coordinate and monitor EMC development, qualification, and documentation activities, ensuring timely progress, high‑quality deliverables, and strong customer satisfaction.
  • Lead EMC status meetings, partnering with technical leads to track progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement recovery plans when needed.
Qualifications (Must Have)
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Prior experience in project engineering or program management.
Qualifications (Preferred)
  • Experience developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules within Microsoft Project.
  • Experience supporting Earned Value Management Systems to manage program budgets.
  • Experience with Change Management and Risk Management tools and practices.
  • Familiarity with EMI/EMC or other projects requiring compliance to environmental test standards (including DO‑160 and MIL‑STD‑461).
  • Ability to work effectively with technical leads, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Clear, concise communication skills and the ability to lead status meetings.
  • Analytical thinking to identify and resolve project challenges.
