Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring a Senior Project Engineer to lead a multidisciplinary team, delivering planning, design and technical support to Discipline Managers across water and transportation, with a hybrid work model in Hernando, MS.

You will perform engineering analyses (2D/3D), lead junior engineers, prepare construction plans and documents, and ensure compliance with codes. The role requires PE licensure or eligibility within 90 days, 6+ years of experience, civil engineering

Competenze

• PE licensure or ability to obtain licensure within 90 days.
• 6+ years of related engineering and design experience.
• Civil engineering certifications applicable to practice.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws for public works projects.
• Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Geopak, Open Roads, and other DOT software.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

Mansioni

• Performs engineering analysis and design (2D and 3D) for roadway, water, and utility projects.
• Lead a small team of junior engineers.
• Prepare construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Assess existing system conditions and recommend remedial measures.
• Conduct construction phase engineering with on-site reviews.
• Maintain client communications throughout project delivery.
• Coordinate project status with managers and deliver on schedule.
