Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. seeks a Sr. Project Engineer for our National Mission Critical team. This role links the on-site construction team with project management leadership and advances with increasing autonomy on large-scale, technically complex projects.

You will support the Project Manager, manage documentation, coordinate with subs and engineers, help develop schedules, and contribute to safety and quality controls on job sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering required.
• 2-3 years of experience as a Project Engineer in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specs and PM basics.
• Proficiency with Procore and Building Connected software.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager from pre-construction to closeout with admin tasks.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes and project documentation.
• Help prepare and maintain status reports for stakeholders.
• Assist in budget tracking, change orders and subcontractor buyout.
• Coordinate with subs, architects and engineers on-site.
• Help develop and manage project schedule and safety/quality controls.
• Take lead on punch list and final closeout documentation.
