Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. in Denver, CO, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead technical studies and coordinate cross-functional teams across mining, processing, and infrastructure projects.

The role supports study development from Initial Assessment through Pre-feasibility and Feasibility, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence. You will manage technical consultants, develop scopes and plans, and assist in CAPEX/OPEX estimates and investment decisions within the Growth and Innovation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• 8+ years of engineering and project development experience in mining, minerals processing, or heavy industrial projects.
• Experience supporting studies through IA, Concept, Pre-feasibility and Feasibility stages is required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; excellent technical writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple cross-functional studies from IA through start of Feasibility Study.
• Develop scopes and manage engagement of consultants to deliver on time and budget.
• Coordinate internal resources and external consultants for IA, Concept, and Pre-feasibility.
• Prepare study reports, investment memoranda, and executive presentations.
• Support CAPEX and OPEX estimates and development of execution plans.
• Promote safe, sustainable project development practices.
