Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Principal Project Engineer to lead engineering for a US-based government program. You will own technical scope, cost, and schedule, interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines and suppliers to ensure program success.

The role requires an active SECRET clearance and US citizenship, with experience in EVMS, risk management, and IPT leadership. Onsite in Marlborough, MA with relocation options available.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering activities with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of EVMS and program cost/schedule control.
• Ability to interact with suppliers and internal engineering groups.
• Active SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure engineering execution within the program with decision authority.
• Manage budget and schedule for engineering tasks and reviews.
• Forecast staffing with local and supplier teams.
• Oversee program metrics and TPM application for progress.
• Provide status reports to program and engineering leadership.
• Engage with suppliers to support program success.
• Develop Estimates at Completion for the program.
• Govern and manage engineering risks and opportunities.
• Conduct EBRs and EPRs at authorized levels.
• Support PMRs for all Engineering matters.
