Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to provide project management and technical support for the Permian Basin assets, including pipelines, facilities, and plants.

You will ensure upgrades are designed and constructed per Engineering Guidelines, Industry Codes, and regulatory requirements while meeting performance criteria. The role involves coordinating with Commercial, Operations, Technical Services, Land, and Strategic Sourcing, and directing third-party

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with project management in oil, gas or chemical industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects at different locations, typically under $10MM.
  • Coordinate and manage capital projects per policies.
  • Develop front-end scopes, execution plans, estimates, and schedules.
  • Monitor costs and schedule to meet budget and timeline.
  • Apply project management best practices and standards.
  • Analyze and manage project risks to minimize exposure.
  • Ensure project docs are current and archived.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and direct contractors.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Supervise outside consultants.
  • Prepare RFPs; review bids and select consultants.
  • Create and execute project work plans.
  • Coordinate resources for in-house and external teams.
  • Review consultants' work to meet Enterprise Products' standards.
  • Ensure compliance with PSM and DOT regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and standards.
