Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. in Midland, TX seeks a Senior Project Engineer to provide management and technical support for pipelines, facilities and plants. Role ensures upgrades meet Engineering Guidelines, codes and regulatory requirements while achieving functionality and performance.

The candidate will develop scopes, schedules and cost estimates, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks, and supervise consultants to ensure projects stay on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in the oil, gas or chemical industries is required.
• Experience with ASME and API standards, PSM and DOT regulations is preferred.
• Experience with plant construction and modifications, pipeline routing, regulatory processes and project management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook) is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Broad project experience in midstream Oil & Gas including pipelines, terminals and storage is preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects at different locations, typically under $10MM.
• Coordinate and manage capital projects per policies and procedures.
• Develop front-end scopes, execution plans, estimates and schedules for go/no-go decisions.
• Monitor costs and schedule to meet budgets and objectives.
• Enforce project standards and apply PM best practices.
• Analyze risks to minimize financial and schedule exposure.
• Prepare reports and supervise outside consultants.
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party contractors.
