Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation in Houston, TX, with additional location in Denver, CO, seeks a Project Engineer for midstream natural gas facilities. You will conceptualize, design, and manage start-up of meter stations, compressor stations, dehydration, amine treating, gas plants, and related facilities, ensuring compliance with company standards and government requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating with departments, managing capital/expense projects, leading safety reviews

Qualifications

ABET/PE accredited engineering degree or PE with relevant experience.
4+ years of experience required.
Preferred experience in meter stations, compressor stations, dehydration, amine treating, gas plants, and related facilities.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with affected departments during project development to vet resource estimates, schedules, benefits, and safety impacts.
Manages capital and expense projects within budgets and PM processes.
Facilitates detailed design reviews to meet engineering standards.
Communicates project performance to multi-discipline teams.
Leads multiple projects from conception to commissioning and start-up.
Upholds safety and leads project safety meetings and HES goals.
