Qualifications

Experience leading large cross-functional projects with limited oversight.
Strong knowledge of medical-device design controls, quality systems, regulatory considerations, verification/validation, risk management, project financials, and executive communication.
Typically 6–12 years of relevant experience, including 3–5 years at Project Engineer II level.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain project plans with scope, objectives, and timelines.
Organize, lead, and document project team meetings with action items.
Identify risks and present mitigation options to leadership.
Collaborate with internal teams to apply structured problem-solving methods.
Develop credible resource and budget forecasts for leadership decisions.
Ensure design controls align with regulatory standards and company policies.
Apply quality and change management processes across responsibilities.
Prepare and deliver timely project status updates for stakeholders.
Manage executive, customer, OEM, and cross-functional communications; navigate conflicts and priorities.
Mentor Project Engineer I and II; support department process improvements and training.
