Job summary

CECO Environmental is seeking a Project Engineer III to lead planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects from concept to completion. You will ensure technical alignment with goals, budgets, and timelines while collaborating with design, procurement, construction, and QA teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Structural Engineering, 8+ years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience interfacing with marketing, sales, manufacturing and vendors.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes project specifications and performance requirements to determine appropriate equipment design.
• Provides engineering and technical support to the Project Management team on Original Equipment projects.
• Provides technical support to the Aftermarket team as needed.
• Creates and reviews technical datasheets and drawings.
• Directs preparation of layouts, drawings and schematics.
• Evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications.
• Interfaces with vendors, customers, and engineers on project issues.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature as assigned.
