Job summary

CECO Environmental is seeking a Pressure Vessel Engineer to lead engineering projects from conception through completion. The role requires ASME VIII code experience, a BS in Mechanical or Structural Engineering, and 8+ years in engineering.

You will collaborate with design, procurement, construction and QA to deliver compliant, safe, and efficient equipment. The position involves travel to customer and vendor sites, reviews of drawings, and development of equipment specifications.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering and 8+ years of engineering experience.
• ASME VIII code experience and pressure vessel design.
• Ability to travel and interface with marketing, sales, manufacturing and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes project specifications to determine equipment design.
• Provides engineering support to Project Management on OEM projects and aftermarket teams as needed.
• Directs preparation of equipment specifications, drawings, and bills of material.
• Evaluates field installations and suggests design modifications to prevent malfunctions.
• Travels to customer or vendor sites for meetings or inspections.
