Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical or Industrial, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of material handling related experience.
• Strong knowledge of the material handling business and project coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Designing/enhancing conveyor systems and automated material handling systems.
• Reviewing product design for compliance with engineering principles and customer specs.
• Coordinate activities related to technical developments, scheduling, and resolving design issues.
• Prepare/review approval, permit, and installation drawings using AutoCAD.
• Obtain quotes from vendors and issue purchase orders.
• Monitor project schedule, engineering time, and material costs.
• Ensure equipment fits within system constraints across disciplines.
• Travel up to 20% to measure facilities, commission systems, and interface with customers.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and resolve engineering issues.
