Job summary

Daifuku North America is seeking an experienced engineer to design and engineer material handling systems for diverse clients. You will integrate mechanical, electrical, industrial, controls, software and project management to deliver safe, reliable solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 6 years of material handling experience, CAD proficiency (AutoCAD/SolidWorks), strong communication, and up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline and at least 6 years of material handling experience.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks).
• Strong communication skills and ability to interface with customers, vendors and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Designing/enhancing conveyor and automated material handling systems.
• Reviewing designs for compliance with standards and customer requirements.
• Coordinating with engineering disciplines and managing project timelines and costs.
• Creating/Reviewing drawings using AutoCAD.
• Travel up to 20% to site measurements and commissioning.
