Job summary

Hargrove & Associates Inc. is seeking an experienced engineering leader to act as the technical lead for projects, overseeing performance, cost, and schedule across multiple engineering disciplines.

You will report to the Project Manager and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality results. The role requires a BS/MS in Mechanical, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering, with PE or PMP preferred, and a minimum of 15 years in engineering and project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical, Chemical or Biomedical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) registration is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant engineering and project management experience.
• Ability to lead a team to deliver on commitments and manage client relationships in complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical leader for projects and oversee performance across engineering by area and phases (cost, schedule, client satisfaction).
• Inform Project Manager of all technical issues, decisions, and problems encountered on the project.
• Plan, schedule, and forecast engineering resources; manage budgets and schedule.
• Coordinate with clients on technical design issues and ensure adherence to scope and procedures.
• Review and coordinate multi-disciplinary deliverables and ensure inter-discipline coordination and quality control.
• Lead cross-discipline coordination and oversight of design deliverables and master documents.
